 back to spiral cutter

Hi john,thepeelerman here!

A while back I received this email from a happy customer called Larry.

Dear thepeelermann

Dear thepeelermannThe old spiral cutter I had did not have a hole down the screw. If you put a Shish kabob skewer down the center of the vegetable, then slip the spiral cutter over the skewer. The skewer holds the spiral together until the cut is done and it keeps the cutter in the center. My old cutter was metal and would attempt to cut your finger off when you spun it and turn the centre into a mush.
Thank you
Larry

Pure Genius Larry thank you!

I have just had a go on a carrot and it worked brilliantly keeping the Spiral in the centre and I did the whole carrot without any breaks, longest carrot I have ever seen! To keep it's shape you can plunge it in iced water for a few minutes after cutting. I do agree that the metal Spirals are a bit lethal and I would never let a child anywhere near one, whereas these are safe and easy to use also I find that the screw grips the fruit and veg.

Once again thank you Larry and I am so pleased that you are!

enjoy your Spiral!

Thank you

John
