I came across this wonderful tool some years ago when I was working at the Ideal Home Exhibition in London. It was to replace an old french plastic julienne cutter that has been out for about forty years or so. As far as I was concerned there was nothing wrong with the old shredder although i have to say it didn't last that long in a professional kitchen,
So I put this new tool to work.
What struck me first of all was the strength of the classic harp style handle and the quality of the blade, by the way, it took 4 years and £2million to develop that blade!
The result is a hard working julienne cutter that is easy to use and clean.
All you need to do is
step 1. give a little dig into one end of your fruit or veg.
step 2. with an even presure slide the full length.
THATS IT, JOB DONE!!!
