"I first made the acquaintance of Bamix in Paris in 1991 whilst working for Guy Savoy. Now this was a very handy little tool that could do things in the kitchen and seemed to change ordinary dishes into something very different.
"Essentially the Bamix can turn thick, weighty soups into something light, exciting and sexy by aerating the liquid into a fluffy sensation that lies delicately on the palate.
"In 1992 I put together a tasting dish called cappuccino of white beans with grated truffle' as part of the menu that won Chef of the year'"
Gordon Ramsay
Bamix of Switzerland has been used by many top chefs worldwide for over 50 years.

Soups can be processed straight in the saucepan whilst still simmering on the hob.

Now lets get down to the nitty gritty tech stuff.
I am so proud to bring you the Bamix. The power and versatility will speak for itself , year after year, after year.,after year.It is not unheard of that some are still in use after 35 years

I (thepeelerman) first came across this Swiss kitchen icon when i was running the kitchen of a middle-eastern restaurant called "The Tent" in Cape Town, South Africa in about 1985. We used a bamix for just about anything. Try the Bamix when you make houmas, you will make the best, lightest, tastiest dips within seconds. We were always complimented for our meze, we were famous! The next time i really used the Bamix was when i used it for soups for my salad round in Notting Hill and just before Carnival i was asked again when i was going to do my fluffy soup again. The last time i delivered soup was more than 12 years ago!!!
